VETERAN LEGAL ASSISTANCE
Transition from military service to civilian life is often a difficult process for Veterans and their families. Dealing with legal situations compounds the problem and creates additional barriers to accessing the justice system. The Legal Services Corporation reports that low-income veterans receive inadequate or no professional legal help for 88% of their civil legal problems.
VETERAN LEGAL SERVICE NETWORK
The Veteran Legal Service Network (VLSN) program addresses the legal challenge by matching Veterans to legal service providers that specialize in their specific legal matters. This is accomplished by leveraging our “high tech/high touch” approach, utilizing Legal Assistance Navigators to qualify the legal case and an automated attorney directory to expedite the referral process.
