Operation Double Eagle
The Warrior Alliance is collaborating with leading educators and golf industry experts to address the most pressing issue that veterans face upon their return home – successful transition into the civilian workforce.
Veteran Workforce Development
Operation Double Eagle is a 9-week skills development program in Augusta, GA that connects veterans and transitioning active-duty service members to a network of employers seeking “job-ready” veterans for nationwide career opportunities.
We actively recruit veterans with barriers to employment through our network of partners, transitioning active-duty military, and government agencies.
We are partnering with Augusta Technical College for veterans to earn credit hours using certified instructors via classroom and lab application education
Made possible by a grant from The Bob Woodruff Foundation, the Double Eagle Performance Center is a dynamic worksite for veterans to gain valuable skills through a hands-on learning program.
The renovation of the August Municipal Golf Course (The Patch) will be used as an apprenticeship opportunity and deliver a signature, ADA compliant golf course.
Rediscover Your Warrior

“The Warrior Alliance has created an innovative solution for addressing our nation’s veteran unemployment crisis. By incorporating hands-on skills development as a key element for re-tooling veterans for civilian careers, the chances for successful reintegration are substantially increased.”
“Operation Double Eagle enables veterans to heal from their military wounds while acquiring new job skills in one of the best environments for decompressing — a landmark golf course. Anyone with a passion for golf and our nation’s heroes should invest in Operation Double Eagle.”
". . . as [service members] return home and transition back into civilian communities . . . we ought to make it a priority to help them channel their experience, ethos, and desire for personal challenge into continuing to make a difference. Their strengths are our strengths, the steel of America’s national character.”
– General Martin E. Dempsey, November 2013
